The Jailers payment.

During an investigation last October, the night was coming to and and Declan had decided to bring everyone together for one last experimental session. Declan had some thoughts impressed on his mind to bring in a large table to the area to do glass divination.

Then over the next little while six people at a time took the opportunity to place their finger on the glass to see if Spirit would move it. Contact was made initially with the Matron, and then after twenty minutes the Jailer made contact.

All the K2 meters that the team use for detecting energy spikes when off once the jailer arrived. This was witnessed by all present. The glass started to move again with the jailer in control.

Declan was then impressed once again and asked the jailer would he like payment for working that night and the glass moved in the direction for yes. Declan then placed a ten cent coin on the table and straight away the glass went down to the coin and pushed the coin away from Declan into Patrick's hand at the other end of the six foot table.

This was interesting to all that witnessed it, but then the jailer didn't stop there. Declan placed another three coins on the table five cent, twenty cent and a euro coin, and proceeded to ask the jailer to take the one coin that he would like to keep. The glass once again moved towards the coins but took the five cent which everyone must of thought was strange since the euro was there, however the jailer had other plans as he swooped the glass back down the other end of the table and one by one brought each coin to the opposite side of the six foot table.

Declan is sure that it was truly the spirits of the gaol moving the glass, as they have patterns for moving the glass that only the team know about. These patterns were shown and none of the team were in contact with the glass at any point of its movement. These patterns are like a signature, everyone's is different and the way these spirits move the glass are also in  an individual ways.

Everyone that was there agreed on the night that they had a good experience, there was some family connections made by Declan for one group that was taking part and the glass moved in response, confirming what Declan had said, then the people confirming too. These people also had no contact with the glass.

Jailer Jack Brings Psychic to tears at Wicklow’s Historic Gaol 20th May 2010

Last week one of Ireland’s most renowned psychics has been brought to tears by spirits at Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.
Mike Fallon (aka the Sandman) was overcome by the spirit of Jailer Jack, who has been giving the prison’s former in-mates a hard time.
Earlier this month, the Sandman started leading night-time paranormal investigations at Wicklow’s Historic Gaol along with top Irish psychic, Louise Kings, who he has worked with for over 15 years. 
The two have been overwhelmed by the level of spirit activity and have made contact with a number of the Wicklow Gaol spirits. Spirits who have come through to the duo to date include: the overpowering jailer Jack, the spirit of a monk in cell 13, a 13 year-old boy called Kevin and a young girl called Grace.
The Sandman’s powerful sensory ability means he can feel the emotions of the spirits and interpret events they experience hundreds of years ago. 
“On every visit to cell 13 emotions come welling up inside - but I have learned to control them a bit more.”
The fear that Jailer Jack inspired in the prisoners makes the grown man cry as he leads the investigations.
“Jack would visit the cell at least once a day. He was a very frightening figure who stood almost 6’5” tall. Everyone was very frightened of Jack. “
The spirits respond to the call of the Sandman and Louise:
“On our visit last Saturday night, the presence of a child called Grace was very strong. She reacted over and over to my call for her to respond. The whole group heard it – Three very light, very low knock. We knew she was there.”
“Louise and I first met Grace two years ago on our first visit to the haunted jail in Wicklow. As I walked around I felt something pulling at my clothes. Louise also saw her and felt her presence. On one occasion as Louise was sitting in the area they call the ship, someone took a picture of her. When we looked to the picture there was an orb and there was a clear picture of the little girl in the orb.”
