Eating at Wicklow Gaol
Take a memento of your visit home with you. A fantastic range of T-shirts, postcards, books and more await in the Gaol Shop.
There is a large public car park in front of Wicklow Gaol. Visitors who purchase tickets to Wicklow Gaol receive free parking for 2 hours. To avail of free parking, cars must display a special badge. This is available from reception.
Disabled parking spaces are available closer to the main door. The ground floor of Wicklow Gaol is fully wheelchair accessible. This includes the opening parts of all day tours, the multimedia projections, the Gaol Café, toilets, and the Geneaology Room.
The upper and lower floors of this historic, three storey building are not wheelchair accessible yet. Stairs to upper and lower levels are narrow so care is needed. Mind your step throughout the jail and be careful of low doorways.
Toilets and Baby Changing Facilities
Toilets are located on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance. Baby changing facilities are provided.
Reception is located in the Gaol Shop on the ground floor. All ticket purchases and general enquiries should be directed here.
Lost Property and Luggage
Space is extremely limited at reception and there is no facility for storing baggage or luggage.
